Dear Santa. . .

12/4/10

Jeff from Palmdale

Dear Santa,

My name is Jeff and I’ve never written before. Sorry. Never thought it was a good idea to ask you or the  Big Smile for stuff like a new car, big flat screen, a winning lottery ticket, and other toys. It just seemed silly. However, writing to you seems a bit. . .odd at this stage of life. I’m okay with this now. Kind of new to this and I would be embarrassed to write, but Pride will just have to do without. Anyways, why not? I have prayed. I’ve done penance. I’ve gone without. Any gifts within reach I will assume it is the Big Smile.

Life has been good and I’d like to think that I’ve acted well. If asked, I would say I should be penciled in on the Good side of the ledger. My heart condition has gotten better, working out more regularly. Started actively seeking relationships with my family on my father’s side, met Aunt Mary, Uncle Bradley. Spoke with Michelle, Pia, Barbara, Randy, and Bee. Still haven’t gotten on the phone with Cousin Bobby, but that I will do before the years out. I’ve re-connected with long lost friends, Tammy and Corinna.  Shared emails with Cyndi, Brad, Ramsin and Ramandeep. Sincerely tried with Brian, Mark, Glittere, and Amanda.  I attend more family parties more often after a long hiatus. Been going to church on the regular and everyone in my family is healthy.  Also, been working on my bucket list stuff visiting places, writing blogs and journals, and other stuff that has been on the backburner for too many years. So I am making an honest effort in doing the right things.

Before going on, I want to thank the Universe, the Big Smile and all the fantastic gifts given to me this year. Santa, I don’t want things in my life. I want something more long-lasting. Transient things I can go with out. There are only a couple things differently that I want in my life. I will send it to you telepathically because this between you, me, and the Big Smile. You know what these are and I sincerely wish these things for me in the near future.  I hope you can do what you can to provide these things for me post haste. The reason I want these two things are to fill an emptiness that I can’t seem to fill with the resources available to me at this moment. Maybe you and the Big Smile may think I am not ready for these gifts because I have much to learn. This may be true, but I do promise to treat these gifts and will never be so short sighted about these gifts. I will cherish them more than Life.

Wait, I’m sorry there is one thing I am okay to share with the internet universe. I hope you will continue with the great job with keeping my family healthy, safe, and worry free.  This I am thankful for and that I would like to please like to have another serving.

Please send my Love and thanks to the staff:  Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen. Comet, Cupid, Donner. Blitzen, Rudolf . Elves, of course, and the Mrs., too.

Love,

Jeff from Palmdale
